ANZAC Day 2013: A Photo Essay of Remembrance at the Berlin Foto Festival 2013: it is with great honour that I announce that my photo essay has been selected to be exhibited at this year’s Berlin Foto Festival, The Browse from 13 June - 13 July 2013.

This is truly an honour. In including mobile photography in their prestigious festival, it marks the growing acceptance of this new art form and type of photography. My love for photography and art comes in all forms and to be an integral part of this movement has been one of my aims with my beloved iPhone: from photojournalism style on Eyeem and app’d out photos my Instagram. It is my personal mantra to showcase the extent of this genre and to be a supporter and participant of important communities like We Are Juxt (Brad Puet), The App Whisperer (Joanne Carter), IPA, iArtChronicles (Geri Centoze), P1xels: The Global Salon for iPhonic Art, Lys Foto magazine (Star Rush), Life in LoFi (Marty Yawnick), iPhonegenic (Edi Caves), and Dan Marcolina @marcolina (publisher of Mobile Masters) all of whom have showcased my work and tirelessly work towards moving this genre forward.

I am a proud member of AMPt Community and a founding artist of The New Era Museum. This is dedicated to Frank Mathews @nitti80, founder of AMPt for believing in me, and my friend Nei Cruz @n_cruz for being one of the ever stalwarts of this genre and King iTard and understands my strange ways. This is also dedicated to one Richard Muscat Azzopardi who took a chance and interviewed me on Media Tapper, and Lexy Saviddes who then interviewed me on CNET Australia about mobile photography.
